Grace Gentry


Grace Gentry was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. She is the daughter of Mother Flora Gentry and Mr. Grady Gentry (deceased). She was saved during a revival conducted by the late Bishop Lymus Johnson when the Trenton Church was pastored by the late Bishop Kenneth Bligen and she continued to serve under the leadership of the late Eld. John B. Eddington while in New Jersey. She moved to Detroit, Michigan more than 30 years ago. The first church she attended was Solomon’s Temple and she eventually became and currently remains a member of Greater Ecclesia Temple where Bishop Richard Snead, Sr., is the pastor.

Her work in local & diocese ministries has included being a Sunday School Teacher, Choir Directress and President of the Michigan Southern Diocese Women’s Council. On an International level she has served as a workshop facilitator, soloist, Director of IWC Global Missions and currently as the IWC Recording Secretary. She was appointed by Mother Mable Thomas as the IWC Praise & Worship Team Leader. This appointment led to the initiation of the IWC Booster Choir.

Grace is a graduate of Bryman School for Dental Assistants. Grace earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Information Management from Davenport University. She also earned a Master in Jurisprudence Degree (MJ) in Health Law & Policy from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago. She is currently a Doctoral Student studying to receive a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Health Administration.

Her employment has included being a Dental Assistant Instructor, Adjunct Professor, and Health Information Analyst. She desires to be a transformational leader that helps as many people as possible to become knowledgeable about Health Information and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Grace has a passion for Old Church Music & History. Her favorite song is ‘I Will Make The Darkness Light’. Her favorite scripture is, Now unto him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Jude 24-25.
